Raised in England, studied in Scotland, now rooted in Canada. I've been fortunate in my adult life to travel widely — across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Americas — and my camera has been by my side for much of it. Each journey has given me something I couldn't have found staying still: a deeper understanding of humanity, of energy, of the quiet thread that connects a street in Mexico to a canal in Italy to a mountain in Canada.
Travel taught me that the world is far more generous than it first appears. That slowing down and paying close attention are among the most rewarding things a person can do.
Photography has always been about more than capturing a great shot. For me, it's about preserving a feeling, a passing moment, a quiet truth. Whether I'm deep in the heart of a city, standing alone in the wilderness, or watching someone let their guard down for just a second, I'm still chasing the one frame that says more than words can.
My work spans three collections — each a reflection of how I experience the natural and man-made world and the people who bring it to life. I'm drawn to warm light, lived-in spaces, and the human details that hold a moment in place.
I hope something in these images stays with you — and sends you somewhere. Whether that's a place you've never been, a moment you finally stop to notice, or simply a renewed curiosity about the world just outside your door.
